Hi armagedwnn,

Welcome to the wonderful world of Linux Mint and its excellent forum!

Setting primary monitor in XFCE? - Unix & Linux Stack Exchange

Your laptop may also have a keyboard switch for HDMI output, or you can go into Display Settings.

Hope this helps ...

Hi armagedwnn,

On the TV you may have to switch its input to the HDMI input that the computer is connected to...
