Emergency mode even after timeshift restoration

Post by jkluska » Sun Nov 18, 2018 6:37 am

Hello,

I have Linux Mint 19 Cinnamon.
For two days it is stuck in the Emergency mode. I am quite new on Linux but I tried to look for solutions:
I am able to boot from USB. I, therefore, tried to restore Linux with timeshift and it failed (I tried with four different dates).
I also tried boot-repair but it did not work (http://paste.ubuntu.com/p/GjFtTPq7dd).

The errors on journalctl -xb are the following:

Code: Select all

tpm tpm0: A TPM error (378) occured get tpm pcr allocation
Problem loading UEFI:db X.509 certificate (-65)

Any ideas of what it is and how I can repair it?

Thank you!

Running fsck on your root filesystem would be a start.
