How do i get my wifi to work?

Well, first of all, we would need to know a bit about your system. Open a terminal and enter the command inxi -Fxz. That will tell us what kind of computer you have, which version of Mint you are running, and other stuff like that. If you're completely new, you can open a terminal by clicking on the icon in the panel/toolbar (left hand side) that just looks like a black TV screen, or you can find it in the Menu. Whatever that command spits out, copy/paste it into your next message here. That will give us some clues on what to ask for next.
