Holding shift after pressing ESC doesnt work

Post by Elhanan »

Hello there recently I have changed /etc/default/grub.cfg and it doesn't had any other configuration rather than one line of setting I forgot the entry, Just remember some entry = ubuntu. Then I added GRUB_TIMEOUT=0.1 which I saw it uses to disable the pop of grub menu at start up time. But now am getting problem to enter grub menu, it only enters to memory test then when I press ESC and press shift it says grub loading... but back to memory test. please help am about to format my pc because of that so please help....

Boot into your install dvd/usb .iso in the live desktop mode. From there
you can navigate to /etc/default/grub on you hd installation and make the necessary
changes as root
Everything in life was difficult before it became easy.
