Cleaning up installation files

Post by worstdayever »

I realised tonight that my webcam wasnt installed and i had quite a time finding drivers that would work. Along the way there were many failed attempts. Are there remnants of failed installs all over now? Can it be cleaned up?

Maybe.

Maybe. Without more information, it's hard to say. Did you install drivers from Software Manager, or something you found on the web somewhere? What exactly did you install? By what procedure did you install? Help us out a little.
