First of all, I installed Vuze but it will not launch. So I downloaded a torrent to Bittornado Client. It did download and is seeding, which I don't understand. I don't know how to open the torrent.

You can use Deluge to download torrents. Have you tried that? There should be a setting somewhere in the options which determines where the file is saved. Look for that setting and you will find your file. (PS in case you don't know how torrents work, the file you download off the torrent site is only a "tracker". It doesn't contain any part of the file you are downloading, only an index file thing).

Well for almost any torrent software you first of all download the *.torrent file to a convenient directory, and then you simply open up the torrent client and and click "Torrent, Add" and choose the torrent file. Or you can often drag and drop the .torrent file into the main window. BTW why did you download 2 other torrent clients when the "Transmission" application is already provided?
