[solved] How to change vertical scrollbar width and color?

Post by spamator12 » Sat Feb 09, 2019 11:09 pm

I'm using firefox and other program on mint, but the scrollbar is just to tin and blur - I can't see it properly. I think there is possibility to edit '.gtkrc-2.0' file so ALL themes will have the scrollbar as I set it. Any idea how to do that properly?

What did work for me was - move to:
home/USERNAME/.config/gtk-3.0 folder
create a file called:
gtk.css (by typing - sudo touch gtk.css - in terminal)
put those lines to this file:

Code: Select all

*{
	-GtkScrollbar-has-backward-stepper: 1 !important;
	-GtkScrollbar-has-forward-stepper: 1 !important;
	-GtkRange-slider-width: 5 !important;
}
now bar is BIG, with arrows.
