Hi everyone!
I'm using linux mint and windows 7 in dual boot. I can see the windows' partitions here.
Can I enter into windows' partitions and copy things like music and pdfs to the partitions of linux mint without any problems?
Thanks for the help :)

Copying should be easy. What would be tricky is keeping the two sides synced if you make changes after copying. Also, bear in mind two copies of a file on the same hard drive is not a backup. If the drive fails, you lose both. So, you need an external backup (hopefully, already have). Syncing both sides against that generally is easier and more reliable than syncing them against each other.

Thanks.
I was windows user, but I'm testing linux systems. I'm tired of windows.
All my stuff are on the windows partitions, so now that I have a dual boot I just want to transfer my stuff to the linux. So just copying the archives to linux mint will be easier than copying everything to a pen drive and then to the linux.
I'll maintain the dual boot to see if the linux is solid and don't get crashed. So I'll try to do all my activities using the linux.
Thanks for the answer. Helped me a lot :D

You're welcome. Sounds like you don't have a data file backup, though. Really, you need one. Yesterday.

I made a backup when I installed linux mint, but the backup file it's only on the linux mint xD. I didn't copy the file for another device yet.
And I copied all my stuff to my mother's notebook xD.

hahahahha. That's true xD. I mean, Linux mint kinda told me to create a backup using Timeshift. I did, but the backup it's only on the linux system xD.
But before I download the installer I transferred all the archives like mp3 and pdfs to the notebook using a pendrive xD.
