Best way to set up web start page?

Post by cecilieaux » Tue Jul 02, 2019 10:28 am

I'm using a free online service that yields a useful start page, but it seems to be going south and I have exported the data.

1. I'm thinking of something that might help me design my own html start page.

2. Then I want something in the cloud that could be reached by a browser from any computer. (I have 3.)

Did I also say it should also be free as in beer?

Thanks!

This is a linux MINT forum, not a how to create a webpage forum. How about moving this to either the chat area or doing some research (google is your friend).

I maintain my own html file. I keep it on the hard drive of all my computers and use it as my start page and home page. I see no reason why you couldn't store it on the cloud (but several why you shouldn't :) ).

Google is my friend? Really? You realize that Google isn't the default search engine in Linux Mint? There's a reason for that. Google is not my friend.
