Tutorial how to use LM 19.2 Cinamon "Desktop Layout Modern"

Post by MintyMorkyMindy »

Hi,

Is there a tutorial how to use LM 19.2 Cinamon "Desktop Layout Modern" ?

I want to know how to have more than one instant open of say Nemo?

I know that shift or ctrl and LMB adds a new instance, and MMB removes an instance, of say Nemo being open.

I wish to have two say Nemo open at the same time, so a tutorial would be helpful.

Thanks.

Not a tutorial, sorry, but a bit of direction on opening multiple instances of Nemo.

If you right mouse click on the file icon in the left hand panel the following menu appears.

If you then left mouse click on the Places option you get further choices.

Left Mouse clicking on any of the offerings opens a new instance of Nemo at that location. The number of open instances is indicated on the Nemo icon & hovering the mouse over the icon opens up mini windows of the instances so you can select 1.
