Probably the most often recommended is Clonezilla.

You can use GParted to copy an installed partition, then run Grub Repair to set up the boot process for it.
All things go better with Mint. Mint julep, mint jelly, mint gum, candy mints, pillow mints, peppermint, chocolate mints, spearmint,....

Come to think of it, you can even use the pre-installed "Disks" utility to make an image of your installation.
