VisualBoyAdvance not installed properly?

Post by HarrisonK »

Hello,

I installed visualboyadvance from the Software Manager, but it isn't showing up in any searches. I found a file for it in /usr/bin but I cannot execute it as I "don't have the right permissions". I tried to change the permissions but I cannot as I'm "Not the owner". Does anyone have a solution? I just wanna play Pokemon :( . Thanks in advance!

Did you tell it what game ROM you wanted to play? Usually you would have to specify that as part of the command as I don't think this program has a GUI.

Maybe something like:

Code: Select all

visualboyadvance game.zip
Obviously you would replace game.zip with the actual filename of the ROM file that you want to play.
