Nemo file manager and OneDrive

Post by RippieUK »

Hi all,

I just installed Linux Mint yesterday and today i added an online account for Microsoft hoping i would get my OneDrive folder.

After adding the account i was expecting to see a Onedrive folder or something just like i have with Google Drive.

Should i be able to access my OneDrive via Nemo - online accounts?

Thx

Supposedly there is a way with Ubuntu, which is what Mint is based on. I have not tried it.

I'm using Insync. Seems to work well.

You should also be able to mount onedrive locally using rclone - https://rclone.org/

The Gnome Online accounts settings module in app help outlines what is supported and what isn't.

I found another way that works with Linux Mint 20. (July 2020)

synaptic: install onedrive command line interface
Terminal: type „onedrive“
copy indicated link to browser
login to Onedrive account
copy URI – (completely)
retype command „onedrive –synchronize“
