[Solved] How to restore the Files-Home launch folder to desktop panel?

Post by Samarian Sunset » Sat Oct 19, 2019 2:25 pm

I removed my launch folder for Files-Home from the desktop panel, as there was the same launch folder on the actual desktop...But now I want to add it back to the panel. How can I do that?

there are two ways of doing this without the reset of the the entire panel which is last resort.
rightclick on the panel >>> + Add applets to the panel
or from your cinnamon menu drag an application to the panel

Thanks that worked by just dragging with the mouse to the panel. The funny thing is that was the first thing I tried but I didn't realize that the positioning on the panel was sensitise. I kept getting an X and it wouldn't stay put. But when I slid it over to the left of my Firefox launch icon it staid. Cool!
