Thunderbird Profile

Post by fred19 »

I am trying to move my TB Profile into Dropbox. I have tried "Thunderbird -p" to bring up the Profile manager but I get "command not found"

What is the correct code please.

KDE 18.2 TB 60.8.0

Just copy the .thunderbird file (hidden file) from you Home folder /partition.
Place it in the dropbox folder and it will be updated each time you change it.
Good luck

Thanks for the reply. I have tried moving the whole folder but TB then starts with a new profile in the Home folder..

you should not move it just copy it. or link it to the dropbox folder.
If there is no .thunderbird folder in your home directory T.B. Will create a new one when it starts.

Thanks again. I have also tried that but TB doesn't update in Dropbox, it is just a copy.

Did you search Mozilla?
