When I turned on my laptop today I was greeted with this gnu grub version 2.02 screen that says;
Linux mint 19.2, system setup and advanced options for mint 19.2 please help

I would first ask, what did you do previous to this particular boot up that might have made a change in the system...was there a kernel update or something else?...DAMIEN

I am not sure. I was having issues with my wireless wifi so I did some sudo dpkg thing that a user recommended me to do last time

Have you clicked onto advanced options to examine your options and if not, could you do so now and copy and paste them or whatever way to convey what the screen is offering as options?...DAMIEN

It says Linux mint 19.2 cinnamon, with Linux 4.13.0-74 generic
Linux mint 19.2 cinnamon, with Linux 4.15.0-74-generic (recovery mode)

And then the same thing but with 4.15.0-54

click on the one that says...4.15.0-74-generic...not recovery, but just plain generic mode...DAMIEN
