<SOLVED> Is TRIM working?

Post by cafcaf777 »

Hello,

I'm running Mint 19.3 in a Samsung 850 EVO SSD and I'm not sure if the "TRIM thing" is On or Off. How can I check this?

Thanks :D

See item 8 (and 9) here ...

Great. Running this command shows if TRIM is working or not and scheduled or not:

Code: Select all

systemctl. cat fstrim.timer

Also, it's possible to run manually with this command:

Code: Select all

 sudo fstrim -av
Thank you very much.
