Re: PDF viewer
Try starting in a terminal & see what output it gives..
Re: PDF viewer
The name of the program should do it. Try
Code: Select all
xreader

If your issue is solved, kindly indicate that by editing the first post in the topic, and adding [SOLVED] to the title. Thanks!
Re: PDF viewer
I've got Xreader installed from the software manager, but it does not launch when I click the icon.

Re: PDF viewer
Did you try Moem's way? Just write xreader in a terminal and hit enter, come back with any messages that gives. Then maybe you'll get some help
Re: PDF viewer
What moem is telling you to do is to launch "teminal" and then type the command xreader into that.

Re: PDF viewer
That's all? Well, I got it to launch with the regular way. Could have been a faulty file. I was using epub, so I switched to an actual pdf of the book I'm reading. It seems OK now. maybe that reader doesn't handle epub?

Re: PDF viewer
No xreader does not read epub files.
For that, personally, I would use the reader that comes with Calibre.
If you had stated that xreader would not open an epub file in your opening post (rather than saying that xreader 'does not launch') then I am sure that you would have received a correct reply almost immediately..
