IRQ problem with DOSBOX?

installed Dosbox from Software mgr.
The 5 or 6 things I have work perfectly but sometimes I notice that sound is a tad scratchy (as compared to Ubuntu 20.04).

I also use Scummvm for KQ5 and KQ6 but I can't remember if I also notice scratchiness there. I think not.
