Don't know where to report this: Both computers locking up with 20.0

Update: Laptop still sees slowdowns and lockups after about 12 hours of use. Tower seems ok, though has slowed down a couple times where to be safe, I rebooted.

It might indeed be the logitech mouse, but I don't have another mouse to use right now. It uses their unifying receiver.

Were there any times you suspended the laptop within that 12 hour period? Someone in a different thread found that if the mouse was turned off before the computer was suspended then there were no issues in resuming the computer from suspend (the original reason for creating the thread).

So I disconnected the Mouse for 24 hours and just used the touchpad and system seems ok. Mouse uses the Logitech unifying transceiver, it's a Logitech M325 Wireless Mouse.

Is there a way to play with drivers or are they built into the kernel?

I would presume there are ways to change drivers. I would expect there are several drivers involved. One driver would be for the receiver itself. Another would be for the mouse.

Did you ever determine what was causing the USB errors you had been seeing?

No. I will take photos of the errors and post them when I figure out how to do so.

I've noticed that the unified dongle gets quite hot when it slows down, almost like it is overpowering.

There's no way to change the driver used by the logitech mouse or receiver but you may have out of date firmware on the receiver vulnerable to MouseJack.

Also, regarding it getting hot in the laptop, it may just be absorbing heat dissipating from the laptop components near that particular USB Port.

You can check that with fwupdmgr:
