I have searched the web and this forum and it seems to be an issue with acer aspires (I was unsure of post etiquette so if this needs to be merged with another thread please let me know).
I first noticed my laptop froze when playing fullscreen video (xplay and also on neetflix via Vivaldi) but it seems to be doing it more often recently (twice yeterday while trying 'Trigger Rally' from the software manager, twice in the rom selection screen of retropie and today using Hatari full screen - the latter two are new ones to do it). It seems to freeze on a .0.5 second loop and the only way I can break out of it is to turn off the laptop by holding the power button down.
If anyone has any ideas what may be causing it, and if it can be resolved, I'd be very grateful.
