How to set Time (local) to UTC/GMT/Zulu

Post by w8wca »

I am not a newbie to linux, but it seems like every distro I try has a different way to set local timezone.

I have hdw clock set to UTC and I like to have the clock in the "tray" show UTC also.

But All of timezone choices in Clock -> Preferences are countries no UTC-Zulu-GMT

(For now I picked one that is GMT )

And ideas?

Thanks,

Charlie

Thanks !

FYI -
I do not have my Mint Eeepc here atm - my Debian Eeepc tells me that tzconfig is depreciated and to use
dkpg-reconfigure tzdata
