The Cinnamon 4.8 release notes say that "Support was added for Systemd's "suspend-then-hibernate" mechanism.", but I cannot find any option that would enable this function. After digging through github I found a commit apparently adding this feature that mentions a dconf key "suspend-then-hibernate" which I manually enabled, but still nothing happens. When I invoke suspend-then-hibernate through systemctl everything works fine, but when I close the lid or suspend from menu it's only a regular suspend. Am I missing something?

Don't go to github! It's microsoft's.
At least if you go don't tell it here. Here they all hate microsoft for no reason.
