Does anybody know of a global theme that looks similar to this but without transparency and has both dark and light versions?
EDIT the mac like task bar I don't care about since I prefer windows
EDIT2 I like the look where there are no darker or lighter panels
Is there a global theme that is extreamly flat?

plata-noir is a good one. plata-noir-compact is for non hi-dpi displays.
PPA from the creator of the theme: https://launchpad.net/~tista/+archive/u ... lata-theme
(latest DEB from that PPA for Mint 20/21 - https://launchpad.net/~tista/+archive/u ... l1_all.deb )
Or compile from source to install: https://www.addictivetips.com/ubuntu-li ... -on-linux/

I’ll tell you a DNS joke but be advised, it could take up to 24 hours for everyone to get it.

I don't like the lighter and darker panels and controls. at most I would like outlines to show where a control start and ends but have the same background colorantikythera wrote: ⤴Sun Mar 28, 2021 6:41 pm plata-noir is a good one. plata-noir-compact is for non hi-dpi displays.

Well the screenshots don't show plata-noir, did you download it and at least try it before dismissing it? Also you posted what appears to be a KDE theme screenshot. The rules for GTK themes seem to dictate different shades for accessibility. I guess you could modify one that's close to what you desire if you are handy with CSS.

yes its a kde theme I was wondering how to get a cinnamon theme like it
also I don't know css but I hear gtk3 themes are kinda hacks due to them being just modifications of Adwaita theme
I have tried to look up tutorials on gtk theming but haven't found anything
EDIT: don't take the hack thing the wrong way it was something from a youtube video I am just repeating what I heard, I don't actually know
