Audio playback on Linux Mint 20.1 Cinnamon

Post by Zimm3r550 »

I Hello forum, I have the following problem with my microphone.
When I start my pc, I automatically listen to my entire room through my headphones attached to my microphone.(This happens before the operating system starts)
My particular mic is a Samson Meteor. Before, a week or two ago this did not happen. Another piece of information is that my microphone is missing the mute button (I lost it during a move, I don't know how)
The point is that I am new to Linux, I changed from Windows among other reasons for the same problem.
Hopefully you can help me. I have PulseAudio installed. I have looked at all the options but none seem to be correct. Could that be the cause of the problem? Would it help me to uninstall it?
Back to the topic. The entire desktop experience is followed by annoying playback, 0.0001 ms of delay but annoying and noisy after all. That starts when the microphone level is 1%. If I leave it muted to. But when I put my microphone at 1% I hear the playback as if I had it at 100%.
In games like CSGO, which have communication utility, my character emits signals (my name appears in the lower left) but my teammates do not hear me, when I press the talk button it is muted for a second, and then I hear the playback , but no sound is emitted from my computer.
I hope I have been clear with the problem. Thanks
