Trezor hardware wallet and Linux mint?

Post by gatorade »

I’m planning to buy some crypto currency.
I was just wondering if anyone has purchased a Trezor
Hardware wallet.
If so, Please Let me know your experience with it.

Does it play nice with Linux OS?

If your signature is up to date I would first upgrade to a supported Linux Mint version. Linux Mint 17.3 has reached end of life 2 years ago.

Trezor look to have good support for Linux: https://wiki.trezor.io/Linux. I think you need Trezor Bridge to connect your hardware wallet to the software you run in the web browser. It has a .deb file you can download. It should be as easy as double-clicking the downloaded .deb file in your file manager to launch the package installer. It will install any needed other packages or inform you why it can't install.
