How do I check if WineHQ is installed?
I just installed wine.deb file and it succesfully installed with a bit of help, but i'm just confused since I cannot seem to search wine up on my applications but I managed to open RUFUS.exe by right clicking it and open it with wine. Is wine an application or did I install it right? please let me know.

Yes, it's installed. Wine is not a program that you run by itself. It's used "in the background" to open Windows programs.

in terminal copy & paste the following command to check to see what version you are running..
wine --version
wine --version
