Hello Thanks for the help in previous topics
Any idea why my network manager/monitor icon would be disappearing in my taskbar?
I am using latest MATE version on a dell 5565 laptop
The network manager icon has disappeared! I need to manually click on "advanced network configuration" in the start menu to bring up some control panel similar to the taskbar icon, yet it still does not come back UNLESS I reboot.
Any idea how to bring it back when it goes away?
Thanks

Re: Taskbar icons disappeared: Network manager?
I fixed it at least temporarily by running the following:
nm-applet
it can back up, but still I dont know why it disappears? COuld it be power management?
