I have a question how can i set it so that after a reboot, the system would ask me for a log in password.
Because now on the first boot it goes straight to Desktop

In Cinnamon, go to the start menu, click on "Administration", then select "Login Window". Along the top, select the "Users" tab, and look at the options for "Automatic login". You probably just need to remove your username.

Sorry should have mentioned that I'm using mint Mint 20.2 xfce
don't see auto log in option there

Menu --> Settings --> Login Window --> Users tab --> Automatic login --> Username -->delete
