"Broken" filter [SOLVED]

Post by 52ROSt »

LM 20.2 Cinnamon

I just wanted to run the new update and got the following message:
You have 1 broken package on your system.
Use "Broken" filter to get locate it.
I tried to find the "Broken" filter in the Update manager but could not find it.

Could you please help a blind man to find the "Broken" filter?

Thanks in advance!

Code: Select all

E: Could not get lock /var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend. It is held by process 9213 (synaptic)
N: Be aware that removing the lock file is not a solution and may break your system.
E: Unable to acquire the dpkg frontend lock (/var/lib/dpkg/lock-frontend), is another process using it?
Where do I go into menu? (As in second option)

AussieOssi, Welcome to the forum,
Please read the forum rules, with regards to Sect 5. Information is required of the system you are using. In terminal copy & paste the following command and post the results back here in between the code display brackets, 5th icon above the text box.

Code: Select all

inxi -Fxz
It is also frowned upon by cross posting on someone else's post, if you have a problem, please start your own thread, the reason for this is because your problem maybe unrelated to the OP problem.
