Linux keeps booting into tty and I can’t get out

Post by samtendo1 »

I’ve tried everything and no matter what I can’t get out of terminal. I’ve tried running the startx command and that just brings up the xauthority error. Can someone please help me?

Yes I'm sure some one can help, but they need more info. If you read "how to get help" that will give you some clues. But the xauthority error would also be helpfull

Perhaps try the command I was recommended of last resort:

To Update, Upgrade and create a new Grub:

sudo apt-get -f install -y && sudo apt dist-upgrade -y && sudo update-initramfs -u -k all && reboot
