SuperKey + Space doesn't switch iBus Language LM 20.2 Cinnamon

Post by freakingNobody »

I just installed LM 20.2 Cinnamon recently and wanted to use SuperKey + Space for language changing. However, when I pressed SuperKey + Space to set up the shortcut, it said "Empty".
Both of my SuperKeys are still functioning like normal, and the shortcut worked back when I was using 19.x. I checked out Group Window List, but no shortcut has been assigned.
I don't know how LM 20.2 couldn't recognize SuperKey + Space.

Thank you.

SuperKey (Windows Key) + Space is used by default for layout changing.
Check: Menu > Keyboard > Layouts > Options > Keyboard Layout Options > Win+Space

Sorry I should mention that I want to change keyboard language, iBus for the detail, not keyboard layout. But just like you said, Win+Space is default for layout changing.

if you need to change Ibus instead of layout:
uncheck : Menu > Keyboard > Layouts > Options > Keyboard Layout Options > switching to another layout>win+space

And see if ibus is using super+space or not
menu>ibus preference

(This is necessary if keyboard layout uses non traditional layout software using ibus like openbangla)
