Update manager has problems recognizing the source #2

Post by ineuw »

This issue, viewtopic.php?f=90&t=353482 disappeared after a fresh install but resurfaced when I added and used two french keyboard definitions in my en-US LMC version.

This language issue anomaly also occurred when I was installing French LMC 20.2 on another computer. The installation failed because with gParted, I named and labeled a partition with an accented character. After changing the name, it installed. But yesterday, the update manager signaled the same error. The refresh corrected it and the update proceeded.

This is keyboard/language selection related because when I switched back to US English keyboard, it kept typing the characters of the previously used French keyboard. I removed the other keyboard definitions to type this post properly.
