RDP causes my password to only work via remote
I cannot physically login to my laptop. I can get in via RDP from a Windows machine and even change the password. But when I try to login the screen just goes black and resets with a blank login screen. I'm actually filling this out in a RDP session right now. Also the screen keeps crashing when I move the laptop around, adjust the lid, etc.. I think this one's going into the dumpster? What did I do? Can/should I just reinstall Linux?

Re: RDP causes my password to only work via remote
beginning to think I should test with an ext keyboard as I think it's something hardware related that is only letting me in remotely. Like the keyboard connection in the laptop is b0rkd? Will test.
NOPE. It picks up my wireless keyboard/mouse like a champ. When I key in the correct password screen goes black, then refreshes back to the wallpaper and resets the pw field to empty. If I key in anything else it tells me it is incorrect.
