This might sound a little naive of me after using mint for more than a decade, but I am really sick of typing "," when I am typing my native language instead of "،".
Anyone knows where this RTL comma is located on Farsi keyboard layout?!

Farsi is not a listed keyboard layout on my install, but if you are using the Persian layout, is it on the same key as 7 on the top row?

oh thank you, I am wondering why I have not seen that in so many years. and more wondering why comma is put on 7 key! All these years I used the left ALT+, while typing Farsi.
