Mediatek MT7160U randomly can't access internet
I apologize if this has already been answered. Tired of Microsoft so installed Mint 20.3. I have a USB Wifi stick with a Mediatek chipset - MT7610U. Every so often the internet becomes unreachable. I disable and reenable the wifi stick and all is well. Is there a place to download and install an updated driver? And if there is, can you provide simple instructions for this old Windows guy? Thanks much.

Re: Mediatek MT7160U randomly can't access internet
I had the similar problem, randomly I would loose internet connection after I installed pCloud cloud storage software. I finally fixed it with the "nuclear" solution. I deleted my partition on disk A (I have LM 20.3 on disk A and all of my data on disk B) and reinstalled LM 20.3. I had to do that to all three of my systems but it cured the problem. Apparently I got some code installed over the years that conflicted with the pCloud software.
