Forum rules can help with that type of question. [2] New Questions Deserve New Topics indicates, "Do not add new questions to existing topics, start your own instead!"

I have made your post a new topic so others can focus on your issue.

If you have an issue then you should always start a new thread.
If, in the past, someone has had a similar issue then you can reference that thread in your new thread, if you have tried (& failed) with any suggested solutions.

You have errors within your repositories.
Go to - Menu - Software Sources - (Password)

I would suggest that you reset the software sources to default plus un-tick any additional repositories/ppas that you have installed - under the 2 tabs..
Now the terminal command should work.
If it does, then you can go back to Software Sources & discover where your bad repository is by adding them back in, one at a time & re-entering the terminal command..
If it doesn't then copy exactly any terminal error message & post back here within the code (</>) tags that appear at the top of the reply box..

Is your time/date incorrect? If so, maybe this helps:

The errors say the file is not valid yet (invalid for another 10h 32min 35s).

Take what it says literally and wait 10 hours and 32 minutes, then try the update again.

+1
RIH knows--one bad apple (aka ppa) in the sources directory spoils the barrel.
Resetting the sources to default (even temporarily) to get your security updates is good practice

Maybe this one, Isn't it Unetbootin?

Hit:6 http://ppa.launchpad.net/gezakovacs/ppa/ubuntu focal InRelease

This looks suspicious too:

Hit:3 https://updates.signal.org/desktop/apt xenial InRelease

I really do want to THANK, any and all who replied to this "wrong placed" post!

Right after I posted the Error, and "tried" rebooting to see what that would do.. ...
I could NOT get to Mint OS, and only get to W10 (yuck)
So I tried out W10, and after 3 hours, in three horrifying days, I had to REINSTALL Mint, as the torture of W10, was unbearable! My fan Ran at High Speed for the 80% of those attempts to put up with BLOATED OS!

So...NOW I have Mint 20. something after 6 TRIES, from 6 different USB live installs!
And...
I pointed Mint to install Boot to a certain partition " .......... .... P7," and I'm using MINT now, but don't have Any CLUE where Mint was Installed according to Gparted, which I had to install because it was not there in my new Mint verson's OS? No biggy just... surprised! Must have been the hoster on Mint downloads!

I'd upload the screen shot, but seems even after 18 years uploading to emails, chats, messaging and web control panels, building sites.... .. and I don't have a CLUE how to do that easily, as most all other venues! I see the "insert image:[img]http//image-url but ......... ? Are we supposed to get a web hosting or "storage folder" to post an Image?
REALLY? ( I more than likely answered my own question, in the question???}

SO I'll go and FIND out how to do that!

Take care and stay safe!

There are 2 basic ways of posting pictures to the site.

1. Is to upload to a web hosting site (such as Imgur). That will give you a URL that you can paste into the body of your post.
This method allows for very large size pictures to be posted - modern phones tend to produce large sized photos 'out of the box. The only disadvantage is that if the hosting site closes in the future, the picture disappears.

2. Is to upload directly from your computer. To do this you click the Attachment tab (at the bottom of the post reply box) & then click the Add Files button.
This takes you to a File Manager page that allows you to select a picture from your computer. You can add comments/title to the picture. Clicking on the "Place inline" button allows you to place the picture within your text, if you don't click this button then your picture will automatically appear after any text.
The advantage (or disadvantage, to server space :D ) of this method is that the picture will be updated to the Forum server & so will remain for ever.
For that reason, the size of the picture placed this way is severely restricted - although Applications like Pix can quickly reduce a picture size..

I see that the image actully shows?
And I just tried to drag it into the comment BOX...but didn't know if was there !

So I better START another thread... since I got this one way off topic!

I save that "how to" to mint folder and to url bookmarks!
