My Linux Mint desktop suddenly started asking me for a password, which I don't know. I tried using the one I use for updates and downloads, but that didn't work. I reset my password in grub, but even though it tells me the password was successfully reset, the desktop won't accept it.
HELP!

Re: Locked Out Of Linux Mint Desktop
can you login to a tty? CTRL+ALT+F1 to get there. type username and password (password field won't move / echo any **** back. this is normal, just type the password in).
