Bluetooth not showing devices, It's stuck on "searching for devices"

Post by Cozzay »

Hello, I use Linux Mint 20.3 Cinnamon edition, I'm very new to linux and i tried paring my bluetooth headphones but it doesn't show any device on the bluetooth gui and it's stuck on searching for devices. Bluetooth worked fine on windows. I tried finding other forums but none of them worked for me. Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Try installing blueman, it's in software manager, much better than the default blueberry.

I already tried using blueman, no luck on that either.

See
https://askubuntu.com/questions/632336/ ... nt-working
might help, if you google broadcom corp. bcm43142 bluetooth you will get a number of hits.

Not my area of expertise, there may be others with more knowledge.
