hi all, time for a trivial and unimportant question.
How can I change the background of the login screen? LM20.3 cinnamon
When I go to 'system settings' -> login window -> background
Nothing changes: the login continues to show the normal user wallpaper.
Worse: I can see the chosen background popping up for a fraction of a second and then switch to the normal wallpaper. Why does this happen?
Thanks for any help,
why cant I set background for login screen ?

Re: why cant I set background for login screen ?
In the same settings window: Activate the option to draw user backgrounds. With this the current desktop background gets displayed, if you select a user in the login screen window.
[SOLVED] why cant I set background for login screen ?
Thanks that works.
Still weird that it showed the correct background before for a fraction of a second and then 'draws user background'
