computer will wake from sleep by itself

i've lately told you that my computer when getting suspended wakes up soon after by itself.
i thought it's the mouse.
but i've changed the mouse and keyboard but it's the same.
i also conect the keyboard with a kvm.
do you suspect that the kvm is causing this problem or perhaps the mint system itself?
it's all started around the time i re installed to the latest mint.....

I have an old HP Pavilion dv9700 Notebook PC with LM 19.3 that just started something similar, but different.
I Shutdown and then it restarts to a black screen and the fan is running super fast.
Nothing to do buy press the off button.
I did not debug it since I have mostly given up on that computer. I have faster and better

This is a wireless dongle? If so, do you have a wired one you can try?

I did not see anything unusual in your inxi output. Usually in these types of cases there is something hardware related that is giving a signal to the operating system to wake up.

Usually, one must attach a usb dongle to the computer for the wireless keyboard to work. That is a wireless connection (between the keyboard and the computer).

Some people have found (moreso with mice), is all it takes is a little vibration on the table or desk where the device is located for a signal to be sent from the keyboard/mouse to the computer to indicate it should wake up.

I do not know if that, or something like it, might be the issue in this situation.
