Please open the System Reports app and click the System Information tab on the left. Your computer's information should come up in the right pane. Then click Copy, and paste the results into a reply window here so we can see how Linux Mint views your hardware.
This could be related to the powersave function on your computer's usb ports.

Re: Wireless keyboard MIA
The latest Mint distro is Linux Mint 21. You are running Linux Mint 20.3.
See if the solution in this post helps. If you need more detail than what is shown there, just let us know.
I also suggest you clean your root partition. With an SSD, one should keep the level below 75% and preferably lower. Here are some tips How to Clean Linux Mint Safely.

Re: Wireless keyboard MIA
I have been having the same problem with Logitec keyboards running on the same dongle as a Logitec mouse. One setup worked for months and then suddenly the keyboard started hiding from me. No problem with the mouse. I tried a new keyboard/mouse combination and had the same problem. Previously, I had this problem on a Raspberry Pi Model 4. My solution: Run the keyboard and the mouse on separate dongles and forget the "unifying" thing.
I am not asking for a solution, I am just commenting on having problems very similar to the OP. I have other keyboard/mouse setups that have not (yet) had a problem.

Re: Wireless keyboard MIA
Have you tried a different USB port? Sometimes that is all that is needed.
You don't happen to be using a USB hub, are you? If so, try disconnecting it and see if that solves your problem.
