Replace keyboard layout indication tray icon with letters

Post by w202mg »

Hey,
I googled and clicked around but I do not see any solution to replace the keyboard layout indication tray flag icons with letters. It looks like there was earlier a setting to do this but I do not see it in the current Mint 21 version. I'm running Cinnamon. Somebody has a solution for me? Thanks

I can only guess, what you mean with "keyboard layer indication". Perhaps this:
Keyboard settings -> layout -> Display options; disable the first one.
