How to adjust saturation on laptop screen?

Don't get me wrong, generally i like Linux but sometimes it is also love-hate relationship  due to thing like this one and pretty strong emphases on terminal whenever something (more serious) needs to be done.
I still cannot find a way to change my saturation, its a shame that this simple thing is not fixed for such a long time.

For more details, I have an intel hd card, I want to oversaturate my display, the inbuild monitor settings are already at max, the compiz tool can only lower the saturation, also tried all the xrandr stuff, it only changes the gamma, brightness and contrast. The VibrantLinux tool only supports amd or Nvidia.

Please read the forum rules with regards to Sect. 5. Information is required of the system you are using. In terminal, copy & paste the following command and post the results back here in between the code display brackets </> 5th icon above the text box.

Code: Select all

If you have already maximized the pure red / pure green / pure blue to maximum in the monitor setting, the only way to make the display look more saturated that I can think of (outside tuning gamma value) is messing with the ICC profile, to give the computer output a custom gamma curve. DisplayCal does have an option to "Create synthetic ICC profile" or even "3D LUT", but I have no experience in them.
