[solved] Czkawka 5 how find < 50kb

Hi i've been using Czkawka 5 rather satisfactory. Except that it seems not to findanyfiles smaller then 50?, 20 kb.
Can't see itin the settings.Anyone knows?

Jeez. I certainly wouldn't touch that. Or anything like it.

Personally I think all those crappy Linux cleaner programs are a cheap way to push software to Linux newbies who still think they need a registry cleaner. They don't, Linux doesn't even have a registry in the Windows sense. I also think anyone who'd write such programs isn't all that competent either.

1 Czkawka is available in the SW man. But in your opinion

The promotion of your own website instead isn't very usefull. Actually it is complete offtopic. Besides on your website are listed some very questionable, and even downright objectionable tips. But i don't wanna go in to that now or here.

newbies who still think they need a registry cleaner

I don't know where this is coming from. I just want to get rid of my own duplicate files! Never mentioned the 'registry'.

I would look though the settings but I currently have Czkawka looking through a million photographs for duplicate files.

Excellent program. Found over a terabyte of duplicates across several computers. Removed the need for a $200 SSD upgrade on one.

I am using the linux_czkawka_gui_alternative.AppImage version. On one search, it showed duplicate tiny code files.

Found another 3000 duplicates.

When in the duplicate files display, select items configuration. There is a size maximum and minimum.

fdupes works very well to identify duplicate files.
I would not recommend it for deleting duplicates, but could be used for deleting duplicates in some simple cases.
Personally I would use the duplicates list to selectively delete files and create symlinks.

Czkawka is a clone of fdupes written in Rust for speed. Fdupes worked in LM 19 but not LM 20 so I switched. Czkawka is faster and has some better options. I use a direct download of the latest version for some of the new options.

The repository version of Fdupes works good for me in LM 20.3.
