Linux Mint 20.3 hangs every now and then
Does anyone know what to do when Linux Mint hangs? the mouse and keyboard are non-responsive. The only way is to reboot, which is utterly stupid when it hangs very frequently. Sometimes files are lost after rebooting - what an amateurish design !! Is it a serious OS or a toy one?

Mod note:
This is a continuation from an older topic: Linux Mint Hangs with non-responsive mouse and Keyboard
OP, you give no indication of having read or tried the suggestions in your previous topic (linked above). If you keep that up, it's unlikely that you will get good responses.

You should really avoid hard shutdowns. They can result in file loss and much worse. That is not amateurish, that is just how things work. Your focus should not be on how to deal with the OS freezing, your focus should be on how to avoid that. On a well-running system those freezes you are having are not at all common and a hard shutdown is never needed.
If your issue is solved, kindly indicate that by editing the first post in the topic, and adding [SOLVED] to the title. Thanks!
