Menu: slim and blank

Post by Helon »

For symmetry's sake, I'm interested in making the Menu icon at the left end of the panel look like the ShowDesktop icon at the right end. I've configured Menu to use the "menu-none" icon at its smallest selectable size, 16px with no Text. That gets halfway there: the Menu button is blank, but not slim, being almost three times wider than ShowDesktop.

I can think of two possible ways to do this. One is setting the icon size smaller than 16px, maybe in some config file. The other is using no icon (or a skinny blank icon), in place of a wide blank icon. Is either of these things possible, or some way I've not thought of?
