I hope you guys can be patient with me. I have a kind of "dyslexia" problem with reading.

I realize I can google that term but usually I totally fail to grasp such text.

has any of you used it in a menu.lst and what does it do?

If you have more than one entry in your grub menu, say Mint and Windows, savedefault will change your grub menu.lst to make the last one you selected the default boot option.

I did not have enough imagination to guess such would happen.
