Postby defazn » Mon Aug 13, 2007 5:15 pm

Loving Linux mint 3.0 gnome right now..just for my own knowledge i noticed that both ubuntu which is great too and linux mint 3.0 both use gnome 2.18.1, but how come the entire interface of the menu (the start menu) of linux mint is different? i like the linux mint alot better than the ubuntu so just wondering what its called..

1 - right-click the Panel
2 - click on Add to Panel
3 - Scroll down to the bottom
4 - On the Utilities section, you'll find these icons:
Menu Bar
Linux Mint Menu (default)
Main Menu

Play with them, adding/removing them & choose the one you like most (first remove the default (right-click on it > Remove from Panel), then move your new menu icon to the far left (right-click > move).

Sorry, but that's the way it is.
