Postby pcfixer » Mon Sep 03, 2007 8:11 am

I like Mint very well but I am having trouble with the movie player. Open a movie and it will close all by it's self. Tried mplayer but it will not open anything. Anyone have an answer?

Try this, it may help.

1. Open /home/username/.gnome2/totem_config

2. Find the following section:

Code:

# video driver to use
# string, default: auto
#video.driver:auto

3. Change that section to:

Code:

# video driver to use
# string, default: auto
#video.driver:auto
video.driver:xshm
Intel i7 LMDE 2. Daily driver Toshiba Chromebook
